And it’s a big book!
Or an itty bitty book.
Or an itty bitty big book.
DAMMIT.
:: draws deep, calming breath ::
My bro and frequent writing partner Kevin Dilmore has a new book out.
Disguised as a mild-mannered senior writer for Hallmark Cards, he performs uncounted acts of writerly derring-do. Cards? Gottem. Catalog and other marketing copy? On it. Scripts for commercials and short films? Bam. Oh, and he does books. Cool, adorable books that scream “COME GET ME!” to the kid in all of us.
You’ve already my previous yammerings where I’ve gone on and on about his other books, like this one, these, and this one over here.
Well, check out this new one:
Great Big itty bittys JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURE: Mayhem at the Museum
Tying into Hallmark’s line of “itty bittys” miniature plush figures comes this “personalized book,” in which you can make your child (or, perhaps an adult with an inner child who refuses to grow up) the “star” of the story as they team up with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and other members of the Justice League to save the day.
All you have to do is enter the recipient’s name and select their gender, skin tone, hairstyle, and whether they wear glasses, and we’re off and running. With the customization complete, your Justice League adventure awaits!
(They really captured my likeness, didn’t they?)
And not for nothing, but the figures themselves are ridiculously cute. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I my daughters can’t get enough of them.
So, come on! Surely there’s a little hero in your life who would love something like this, so what are you waiting for? And you have to hand it to Kevin for continuing to show us his Superior Geek Cred. I mean, I can’t be the only one who caught the Easter Egg that is the “guest star’s” costume.
Not just me, right? Come on. Somebody throw me a bone, here.
You can preview the book over at Hallmark’s website. Go on, check it out! I’ll be here when you get back.
Holy cow, that is too cute for words!
