The Batcave Podcast, Episode 25!

Wait. It’s already time for another all-new episode of The Batcave Podcast?

I guess it is.

Host John S. Drew is at it again, continuing his review of the classic 1960s Batman television series starring Adam West and Burt Ward. For second season’s seventh story (and 13th and 14th episodes), he’s joined by author, editor, and diehard Batfan Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg to discuss the two-part story that introduces Egghead into the pantheon of Batvillians, “An Egg Grows in Gotham” and “The Yegg Goes in Gotham.”

From John’s write-up:

“Vincent Price makes an eggs-cellent debut as Egghead. Egghead wants to take over Gotham City and has an eggs-acting plan to make it happen. He kidnaps the descendents of the three founding fathers of Gotham City, which includes Bruce Wayne, in order to make sure they can’t deliver on their payment for the lease to the Last of the Mohicans. As an added bonus, he plans to eggs-stract the identity of Batman from one of them. Can he succeed in eggs-ecuting this plan?”

Have I mentioned I’m a huge fan of Vincent Price?

Well, I’m a huge fan of Vincent Price.

Anyway, tune in to see what John and Dr. Blumberg thought of these episodes: “An Egg Grows in Gotham/The Yegg Goes in Gotham
