Novel Spaces – “Finding the Spark.”

Yep, it’s the 15th again, which means it’s my turn in the queue over at the Novel Spaces blog!

This month, I muse a little about what I do when the words just won’t come unstuck. Some people call it “writer’s block,” whereas I tend to call it, “I just don’t frappin’ want to do this today,” or, “That idea I had last week that sounded so awesome? Yeah, it really kind of sucks.” I have ways of trying to combat such writing stoppages, and it usually ends up with me doing some chore around the house my wife wishes I had done a few days earlier.

So, everybody’s a winner!

You can read the new article at Novel Spaces: “Finding the Spark.”

How about you? What do you do when the words don’t want to play? How do you go about finding that spark?
