Lookie what the Book Fairy brought me….

“The new books are here! The new books are here!”

Just arrived via UPS, and still cold to the touch from being outside.

If I’ve got my copies, that means the book should soon be on its way to book sellers. Though it carries an “official” publication date of December 31st, it could start showing up in stores starting as early as next week or so, depending on when store folks get it unboxed and entered into their inventory systems and out to the shelves. Bear with those nice people; it’s a crazy time of year, after all.

Of course, the book is positioned perfectly for holiday shopping, and for using those gift cards you’ll soon be getting, so you know…act accordingly.

Already got a B&N gift card set aside for this bad boy.

Add to all of this the fact that the previous three Fall books have all hit the New York Times best seller lists. I suspect that the only reason the first book didn’t make it is because Simon & Schuster and Barnes & Noble had only just completed their little brouhaha, but not in time to affect advance orders for DRGIII’s book. I know advance orders for From History’s Shadow were affected in similar fashion.

But, all that’s gone now, so….no pressure, right?

  2. Guessing that my preferred bookseller will be phoning me sooner than later, then…

  3. Happy new book day, dude!

Lay it on me.
