What? Another interview?
Yep. Sorry.
This time, I sit down once again with Sina Alvarado and Michael Clark of Trek Mate’s Ten Forward podcast, to talk about my recently released Star Trek novel, From History’s Shadow. I’ve been on their show a couple of times already, so I knew I would enjoy talking with them. We spend a great deal of time discussing the novel’s development and all the research–Star Trek and otherwise–I did in order to pull together the book’s various threads.
We also find some time to talk briefly about my Star Trek novel from last year, That Which Divides, as well as Star Trek: The Fall, which began this month with David R. George III’s Revelation and Dust, and continues over the next four months with novels by Una McCormack, David Mack, James Swallow and myself. And, of course we have to spend some time talking about Star Trek: Seekers, because…well…STAR TREK: SEEKERS!
:: Ahem. ::
Finally, we also spend some time gabbing about Space Marshal Dylan McCade and how I came to be involved with David Taylor and his talented troupe from Sci Fi Commons. You’ve listened to “The Terror of Entropia’s Ice Cannon!” by now, right? If not, WHY NOT?
WARNING: The interview does contain spoilers for From History’s Shadow, so tread carefully.

Ten Forward Episode 64: Dayton’s Having Too Much Fun with History’s Shadow
Thanks very much to Sina and Michael for having me on the show again. I’m already scheduled to return in October to Ten Forward for an episode of “Ship Wreck Trek,” in which I will offer up my five Star Trek episodes which should be cast for all time into oblivion. Consider it a counterpoint to an earlier show I did with them, “Desert Island Trek,” where I offer up five favorite episodes.
Hope you enjoy the listen!
Well…I know what I’m tuning-in to tomorrow. Love Michael and Sina! And-yeah, you’re pretty entertaining, too. I hope Michael didn’t sing… *crickets* Was honored by Michael’s invitation, to join/follow him and Bunny on their ‘new’ Holodeck show. Can’t wait to get started…
