“The Bionic Woman, Part Two” on Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast!

What? Has it been two weeks already? Seems that way, and that means it’s time for another brand-spankin’ new episode of Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast!

It’s a continuation of sorts to the previous episode, of course, as hosts John S. Drew and Paul K. Bisson continue their bi-weekly retrospective of The Six Million Dollar Man‘s second season. This time, even the guest hosts don’t change, as John and Paul are joined by James Sherrard, creator of The Bionic Woman Files, and Betsy Dodd from The Bionic Blonde, to revisit the season’s twentieth episode, “The Bionic Woman, Part Two.”

From John’s write-up:

“Jaime is sent on her first mission to recover another stolen money plate. Steve accompanies her, not knowing the designs of Joseph Wrona. Will the two survive this mission? And what’s with Jaime’s shaking hand and bouts of pain? All will be revealed!”

Picking up where “Part One” left off, “The Bionic Woman” continues with the “origin story” of Jaime Sommers, who would prove to be such a popular character that audiences clamored for her return. This would prompt a two-part episode acting as The Six Million Dollar Man’s third-season opener, “The Return of the Bionic Woman,” as well as the creation of Jaime’s own spin-off series, The Bionic Woman, which would premiere later that same year.

As expected and as they did with “Part One,” the group gave this episode their highest rating, but you need to hear the podcast so they can show their work: Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast – “The Bionic Woman, Part Two.”
