While doing the web-surfing/Twitter/Facebook thing, I happened across this delightful little bit of Trek-inspired whimsy:

Despite the clues provided (first name “Tim,” or I suppose it could be the initials T.I.M.), my attempts to track down the artist responsible for this piece have come up short. I would really love to get in contact with him (or her?), so if anyone who sees this recognizes the work and can point me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.
So, how you doin’?
UPDATE: January 21, 2013 – I’m thrilled to say that I actually found the artist, through the sort of blind luck and good timing that can only happen in the modern world of social media. It turns out he’s on Facebook, and we have mutual friends, one of whom posted/shared a different piece of art he’d created and which bore the same distinctive logo/signature. I’m not yet sure if he’s okay with me sharing his name/other info, so for now suffice it to say that we’ve been corresponding over on FB.
Aren’t Trekkies cool?

I’m doin’. I’ll sew my bots near and far to aid you in this worthy quest.
Thank ya.
Did you try DeviantArt?
Yeah, but all my tries at search strings came up blank.
Reblogged this on Angus48's Blog and commented:
Tim the Enchanter has created art and disappeared from the grid like the Mid-evil terrorist wizard that he is. Dayton would like the scoundrel found so that he may be rewarded. I added the last bit.
Well, I’d definitely like to ask him/her about purchasing a print, at least…and perhaps other things related to, well…stuff
Did a reverse image search on tineye.com and came up with nada.

It says it search over 2.2526 billion images.
Thanks for trying!
To me (of course I am old!) based on the thing at top and bottom-looks like initials WM.
Somebody else was saying the same thing over on Facebook. I honestly never saw it until he pointed it out.
